Katie takes a personalized, holistic approach to wealth management. With almost two decades of financial industry experience working with clients on managing their money and developing financial roadmaps for all of life’s transitions. She offers clientele the highest degree of attention and customer service through a variety of financial planning services as every person’s situation is unique.
After many years of working and building her expertise in the financial industry, as a Financial Advisor and as a Managing Partner, Katie opened her own practice, Haven Financial Planning.
At Haven Financial Planning, Katie works with everyone from individuals and families to small business owners, offering tailored financial guidance to align with each person’s individual needs and goals. From creating a personal budget to developing a retirement plan through estate / legacy plans, Katie has advised on every aspect of the financial planning journey.
A significant part of her practice involves working with emerging business owners developing viable financial plans that encompass both their personal and professional goals. Through both coaching and advisement, Katie is committed to providing clients with the critical knowledge, tools, and guidance to take control of their financial futures.
Over several years, Katie has become a regular guest on WDCX Radio. She holds an MBA in Finance from Wilmington University and a CFP® (CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™). Additionally, she is a graduate of University of Buffalo’s CEL program.
Katie was honored to be listed in the Business First “Who’s is Who in Banking & Finance” 2 years in a row.
Katie is the Board Secretary of Habitat for Humanity Buffalo. She is also on the Development Committee for Habitat for Humanity Buffalo.

As the newest Administrative Assistant to join our team, she affords a strong commitment to delivering exceptional support and maintaining professional efficiency. Amy has exceptional attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills that helps us provide our clients with exemplary customer service.
Personally, she values quality time with my family and makes it a priority in my life. She enjoys spending time outdoors either at a sporting event or on the beach. She also has a passion for traveling and exploring new destinations, which helps broaden her perspective and keeps her inspired both personally and professionally.
